What’s Happening

Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry is proud to be a sponsor of the Colorado Municipal League’s 101st annual conference. The 2023 CML Annual Conference is from June 25th through June 28th at the Gaylord Rockies. The Colorado Municipal League (CML) was created 100 years ago when representatives from 11 Colorado cities gathered in Boulder to establish the Colorado Municipal League. Over the last century, CML has grown to represent 270 of the 272 cities and towns in Colorado! CML is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization we are proud to sponsor – and to be a member of!

In December 2022, HPWC, in conjunction with the Town of Superior, hosted A PRECIOUS CHILD GIFT DRIVE. A Precious Child collected donated newtoys, gift cards and gifts for underserved children (babies through teenagers) in the community and distributed them to kids who were the most in need, through A Precious Child’s Resource Center and Agency Partners.

The staff at HPWC also adopted 18 families from the Superior Elementary School who were affected by the Marshall fire, providing donated new toys and gift cards for the holiday season.

HPWC generously provided a pair of AirPods to a 6-year-old boy in Erie, Colorado with a terminal illness during the holiday season.

A. Flanagan and E. LeBuhn, The Long and Short of Short-Term Rentals, Colorado Lawyer (Published May 2023)

With their land use and city planning backgrounds in mind, Elizabeth LeBuhn and Austin Flannagan at HPWC were drawn to collaborate on an article addressing an issue that impacts many, if not all, of the Firm’s clients. Because Colorado has seen relatively few published court decisions on short-term rental regulations, this article analyzes case law nationally and how those holdings could apply in Colorado.
