rhg@hpwclaw.com

Ruthanne (“Ruthie”) Goff is an associate attorney whose practice is primarily general counsel work, municipal court, and civil litigation.  Ruthie represents Colorado clients in matters including without limitation acting as general counsel for local boards, councils, and planning commissions, serving as the police legal advisor for a number of the firm’s clients, provides prosecutorial services for five municipalities handling matters from the arraignment stage through trial, and represents and defends Colorado clients in civil litigation matters ranging from eminent domain, sales and use tax litigation, extreme risk protection orders, and general litigation.

Prior to joining Hoffmann, Parker, Wilson & Carberry, P.C., Ruthie worked at the Denver City Attorney’s Office as a fellow in the Employment Litigation Department representing the City of Denver in employment disciplinary appeal hearings, responded on behalf of the City in EEOC and Colorado Civil Rights Division claims, and defended the City against alleged violations of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.

More about Ruthie

When she is not in the courtroom or boardroom, you can find Ruthie in the CrossFit gym, running around with her dogs Goose, Grant, and Gimli – the Gs, affectionately – or tackling the next black diamond or 14er with her fiancé, Erik.
